The position of a Junior Traffic Warden is necessary in the management of road discipline and safety on the roads. During peak traffic periods, Junior Traffic Wardens provide additional traffic control, while also enforcing traffic rules on illegal parking and speeding. They do not only manage the traffic but also help pedestrians and drivers by giving them directions and providing answers to various queries concerning the road rules. They are also responsible for reporting incidents, dangerous situations or any collisions which have occurred during their duty periods, and working with the police and other units involved in traffic control. The only educational requirement for this job is completion of high school. Punctuality, good listening and active verbal skills, and the ability to walk for long hours in difficult conditions are required for this job. Junior Traffic Wardens are watchful, meticulous, and able to keep their composure in unusual situations and all these are relevant to enhancing public safety and driving efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibility

Duties of a Junior Traffic Warden:

1. To supervise the movement of traffic in order to create an uninterrupted flow of traffic at peak hours.

2. To oversee activity in the Traffic Management Centre in order to prevent violations, including speeding and illegal parking.

3. To help and assist pedestrians and motorists in terms of directions and traffic safety issues.

4. Describe events, conditions, and activities that may be associated with an unsafe act or a violation of traffic regulations.

5. Report and account for numbers of accidents or incidents met during duty hours on shifts.

6. Work together with law enforcement officers and other teams who control traffic during emergencies or important events.

7. Encourage responsible driving and familiarize the general public with traffic rules.

Qualification

Bachelor Degree (2^nd Division)

Preferable Skills

Here a few skills that would be an advantage to a Junior Traffic Warden:

1. Robust Communication Skills:A person must be capable of interacting politely with the members of the public and drifts as well as the law and order officers.

2. Concentration:Be able to watch the traffic properly and know when it has been violated as well as be able to record incidents reasonably well.

3. Ability to Wage Physical Combat:Stand and walk around for long hours, be able to withstand heat and rain.

4. Analytical Skills:Remain cool-headed, imagine solutions in rapid time, and bring about resolution to sudden and unanticipated happenings.

5. General Traffic Laws and Basic:Granting permission to unborn generations to have a sense of the rules and road safety.

6. Teamwork:Ability to coordinate efforts with other wardens, police and rescue squads.

7. Customer Orientation:Be polite and cheerful when repetitively helping other pedestrians or drivers who need help.

                Salary Package

                  45 to 70k
